Since 2013, NTCI has been offering an annual farm work experience program that includes hot water disinfection of paddy seeds, rice husk charcoal production, seeding, rice planting, harvesting, drying and hulling rice, by assisting part-time rice farmers with their farm work.
We were refrained from undertaking such activities after occurrence of the Covid 19 disaster, but this year we were able to resume this year for the first time in the last three years.
This time, four employees with their two acquaintances participated in rice planting using a riding rice-planting machine on April 23.
There are many things that can be learned from practice, such as crop cultivation and machine operation and maintenance, and many employees are utilizing such experience in their daily work.
