The activities and outputs of the Project for Water Management and Capacity Building in the Republic of Rwanda (WAMCAB), which has been implementing by the NTCI since March 2019 under the contractual arrangement with the JICA, were introduced on Facebook by the JICA Rwanda office, along with an explanation by the project leader “Mr. Norio Kuniyasu’.

The project has been implemented to improve irrigation water management capacity in three model areas in Rwanda, benefitting 4,500 farmers in four years . The WAMCAB model will be extended to more target irrigation sites starting in 2023.
