Special audience with the President of Guinea and the second Vice-President of Burundi as appointed envoy representing the Public-Private Partnership Program at TICAD VII
On August 29 of 2019, Mr Mori, President of NTCI was granted an audience
with H.E. Professor Alpha Condé, the President of the Republic of Guinea
at the TICAD VII Conference held in Japan and expressed his sincere gratitude
for the special occasion. Mr Nagai, formerly appointed as Technical Advisor
to the Ministry of Agriculture in Guinea was also given the opportunity
to explain the merits of using Japanese technology to promote rice production
in Guinea. In return, President Condé expressed his enthusiasm to see further
cooperation from Japan in the agricultural sector including rice farming.

On August 31 of 2019, Mr Mori was also granted a special audience with
H.E. Dr. Joseph Butore, the second Vice President of the Republic of Burundi
at the TICAD VII Conference. Likewise, Mr Nagai was given the occasion
to evoke NTCI’s involvement in the Community Development Project in Gitega
Province in 2011 and the positive impact on the country. Recalling that
agriculture is the vital element in the national development of his country,
Mr Butore hopes to see continuous support from Japan in the sector.
